Itinerary:
Day 1: Cairo
Arrival at Cairo International Airport, meet/assist through immigration and customs and transfer to your hotel, check-in, overnight.
Day 2: Cairo
Breakfast, full day sightseeing tour to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, after that you will visit Old Cairo, lunch, then continuo the tour by visiting the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Valley Temple and the Sphinx, return to the hotel and overnight. (B/L)
Day 3: Cairo / Luxor
Breakfast, transfer to Cairo Domestic Airport, flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, transfer to embark your Nile cruise before lunch, visit the great Temples of Karnak and Luxor, dinner and overnight in Luxor. (B/L/D)
Day 4: Luxor / Edfu
Breakfast, cross the Nile to the West Bank visiting Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the famed Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile, lunch. Sail to Esna, cross the lock, continue sail to Edfu, dinner and overnight in Edfu. (B/L/D)
Day 5: Edfu / Kom Ombo / Aswan
Breakfast, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, sail Kom Ombo, lunch, visit the Temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris, sail to Aswan, dinner and over night in Aswan. (B/L/D)
Day 6: Aswan
Breakfast, visit the High Dam, the unfinished Obelisk and PhileaTemple, lunch. Visit by felucca the Elephantine Island, Botanical Garden, and view of Agha Khan Mausoleum, dinner and overnight in Aswan. (B/L/D)
Day 7: Aswan / Kalabsha / Wadi El Seboua
Disembarkation after breakfast, then you will be met and transferred by a/c vehicle from Aswan to the cruise of Lake Nasser, embarkation on board of the ship before lunch. Visit to Kalabasha temple with its Pharaonic aspect, remodeled into the Greco-roman style and dedicated to the God Mandoulis. Visit the hemi-speos of Beit El Wali, erected by Ramses II in the beginning of high Reign. Also visit the Kiosk of Kertassi, erected to honor the Goddess Isis, sailing to Wadi El Seboua, dinner and overnight on the way at the Tropic of Cancer. (B/L/D)
Day 8: Wadi El Seboua / Amada / Kasr Ibrim
Breakfast. Continue Sailing to Wadi El Seboua. Morning visit to Wadi El Seboua Temple. Dedicated by Ramses II to the two Gods Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis, The temple of Dakka, dedicated to the God Thot of divine wisdom, lord of times and science, master of literature. Visit the Greco-Roman temple of Maharakka. Sail to Amada, lunch, visit the Temple of Amada from the XVIIIth dynasty, built during the reign of Thohotmosis III, Amenophis III and Thohotmosis IV. Also visit the hemi-speos of Derr, dedicated by Ramses II to the rising sun, finally the tomb of Penout, viceroy of Nubia. Sail to Kasr Ibrim, dinner and overnight on board. (B/L/D)
Day 9: Kasr Ibrim / Abu Simbel
Breakfast on board. Morning visit to the Citadel of Kasr Ibrim, sole vestige of the distant past of Nubia in its original location. Explanation is done from the sun deck of the ship as entrance to the site is not permitted. Sailing to Abu Simbel and after lunch visit the Temples. Symbol of the international salvage of the Nubian monuments: the Temple of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefertari. Sound and Light Show at Abu Simbel Temple followed by a candlelight dinner on board and overnight. (B/L/D)
Day 10: Abu Simbel / Cairo
Possibility for a second visit to the Temples to watch the spectacular sunrise at the Abu Simbel Temple. Breakfast and disembarkation, then drive to Abu Simbel Airport to board your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel, check-in, free time at leisure, overnight. (B)
Day 11: Cairo
Breakfast. Check-out from the hotel and transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
